Admissions

Welcome to Taha Learning Electives!

Every effort has been made to simplify the admissions process.
Please read all the steps below and if you have questions about the registration process, please email [email protected].

Step 1: Choose your enrollment option

Oxford Virtual Academy (OVA) Option

Enroll with Oxford Virtual Academy as a part time student. OVA students receive funding for up to 4 classes funded completely by OVA, with the 5th class costing only $100.

Fees

$15 registration fee per student
5th class: $100 per student per semester (first 4 classes are fully funded)

*Only homeschool and eligible private schools students qualify for this option. For more details visit our FAQ page.

Self Pay Option

Enroll in as many classes as you'd like, without enrolling with Oxford Virtual Academy. This option is usually chosen by public school students who are not eligible for OVA funding.

Fees

$15 registration fee per student
$270 per class per semester

Step 2: Complete registration form

This form allows you to complete family registration and select classes. Your enrollment fee will be due once you receive your child’s schedule.

IMPORTANT: Registration is not considered complete until you:
  1. Receive and confirm your student’s schedule.
  2. Pay the enrollment fee.
Go to Registration Form

Step 3: Pay the non-refundable $15 per student registration fee

Step 4: Start the OVA enrollment process (if you chose the self-pay option skip to step 5)

Oxford Virtual Academy has made the process very streamlined and user friendly:  OVA Admissions
Here is a list of the documents you will need to complete registration:
  1. Original Birth Certificate of Child
  2. Parent/Guardian ID
  3. 2 Proof of Residency Documents
  4. Immunization Record or Waiver
    For Immunization Waivers:
Please call (734) 727-7125 and provide your child’s information along with your email address to receive instructions. The most reliable method is to call directly.
For reference, the correct webpage is: Immunization Coordination & Vaccines for Children Program | Health, Human & Veterans Services (waynecounty.com)
  5. Health Appraisal Form (Kindergarten need a doctor's appointment)

The remaining forms can be found at the link provided on the OVA admissions page.

  • Online Class requirements of OVA funded students.

All OVA-funded students are required to complete an online component for each class to maintain their funding. This is especially important on "Count Day," a key attendance date, which occurs on October 1st, 2025. More details about Count Day will be provided in orientation.

Step 5: Attend new family orientation on September 1, 2025.
