What is Taha Learning Electives?
Taha Learning Electives is a program that offers innovative and engaging elective courses for students K-12 that educate, enlighten, and cultivate the minds of our youth to be the leaders of tomorrow.
When are the classes held?
Classes are offered once per week on Mondays, with each semester spanning 14 weeks.
The Fall 2025 semester starts in September 2025 and end in December 2025.

Are the instructors qualified?
Our instructors are experienced professionals with strong expertise in their subject areas. All instructors complete background checks prior to teaching.
How can I enroll my child?
Through Taha Foundation's partnership with Oxford Virtual Academy (OVA), homeschool and eligible private school students can enroll in up to 4 classes funded by OVA. A fifth class can be added for $135 per semester.
Parents will have to register with OVA to be eligible for this funding. Parents must also pay a $30 family registration fee (per family).
What is the cost per class?
OVA funded students (homeschool and eligible private school students) can enroll in up to 4 classes for free (after paying registration fee).
For public school students, parents can choose the self funded option. Each course would cost $270 per semester.
Why aren't public school students eligible for OVA funding?
Oxford Virtual Academy is an online public school, and is allowed to provide funding to students who are not already receiving public funding. Students who are enrolled in public school are already receiving public funding.
