Course Overview:
This interactive course introduces middle school boys to the essential rulings of Islamic practice in a clear and engaging way. Instructed by Shaykh Abbas Ghaddar, students will learn about key aspects of faith and daily worship, exploring not only how to perform these practices but also why they matter.

This course is Part 1 of a two-part series on Practical Islamic Laws. Students will continue their learning in Part 2, which will cover additional topics such as Fasting, the lunar calendar, Islamic duties on wealth, business ethics, and practical lifestyle applications.

Please note: Part 2 will be offered separately in Winter 2026 and will require its own registration.

Topics Covered  - Part 1 (Fall 2025):

• Taqlid (Following a Marja‘): Understanding who we follow in Islamic laws and why.
• Purity & Cleanliness: Learning about najis things, purifiers, and how to stay spiritually clean.
• Wudhu, Tayammum & Ghusl: Step-by-step guidance on different ways of purification.
• Prayer in Detail: Covering prerequisites of prayer, daily prayers, praying in congregation, and prayers while traveling.
• Halal & Haram Foods: Identifying what is permissible to eat and what to avoid.
